Amsoil has a premium alternative oil available for Victory V-Twins and 2013-Newer Indian V-Twin motorcycles. As of it's introduction in the spring of 2015, Amsoil was the only FULL Synthetic oil formulated for the Victory and Indian. I believe that there is another out there now, but Amsoil was the first and best. Click the oil bottle below for more information!!
Dan Goldman at CPS Automotive and Marine is committed to having the Amsoil products that you need in stock!! CPS has a very large inventory on hand at their store at 3455 SE Miehe Drive in Grimes, IA. The photo above represents about half of their total inventory. If they don't have what you need, they will get it for you.
CPS also has a new Facebook page, stop by and check it out. Be sure to give the page a like!! Well, Son......it must come from this truck!!
But seriously, Amsoil is made in Superior, Wisconsin. Amsoil operates a state of the art research and development center along side their production facility. Click here for a "How it's Made" video featuring the Amsoil Center in Superior, WI. Amsoil operates 13 distribution centers throughout North America assuring quick delivery of Amsoil product to your location. The other day I was out and about, working my real job as a project manager at Control Installations of Iowa. I returned to our shop on Thornton Avenue in Des Moines and found this blocking my parking spot! This truck was at our shop unloading automatic doors at our sister company, Automatic Door Group. Now, being the observant person that I am, I immediately noticed the Amsoil decal on the side of this tractor. As I walked around the front, again being the observant type, I noticed yet another Amsoil decal on the front. OK, I have got to talk to this trucker!! I walked around the passenger side and, you guessed it, another decal. I found the owner of this tractor at the back. I asked about the Amsoil decals. What followed was one of the best testimonials on Amsoil that I could have asked for. Even better, and unexpected, was the story of this unique truck's owner, Hank Good. Hank told me the story of how he became an Amsoil customer back in 1983, with his earlier truck, Hank's Highway Hilton, a 1981 Kenworth K-100 Aerodyne. This truck is proudly on display at the Iowa 80 Truck Museum in Walcott, IA. He told me that Amsoil had to do some convincing back in 1983 to get him to "give it a try". Amsoil even went as far as to give him his first oil change and enough oil for top offs in order for him to try it out. Hank gave me a lot of numeric details on what his experiences were with Amsoil, I will save the details. But, I think the fact that the 1981 truck has 1,590,406 miles on her speaks for itself. Along with the fact that Amsoil is the only lubricant used in his current truck. Now, for the rest of the story. I talked to Hank for quite a few more minutes. He has a way of making you feel like you have known each other for years. He told me a few interesting little stories, and before we parted way, invited me to find him on Facebook. I found his Facebook page and looked around a little bit. What I found piqued my interest and I headed on over to google to see what I could find. It appears, to me anyway, that I had met a true legend in the trucking world!! His original 1981 Kenworth has traveled the globe, winning more than 120 trophies at various shows. Hank graciously donated this truck to the Iowa 80 Museum in 2014.
I hope you find this article interesting and do a little digging of your own. What started out for me as a quick little fact finding mission on a truck that appears to be using Amsoil, turned into a really cool look into the life of a fellow American. I am very glad that I stopped to smell the roses. Matt |
