Start stop technology is here to stay and that's good. I have a couple of cars that have this technology. I had concerns about wearing out the starter or battery. I never considered the increased wear potential on bearings! Better use the best oils you can to help prevent the wear caused by the increase in "start ups". By the way, I have been told that the starters, at least have been beefed up to survive the increased cycles. Feel free to download the article.
